Thermo Fisher Scientific | Prionics AG is offering an exciting opportunity to join our site in Schlieren as Senior Administrative Assistant (f/m) on a pensum of 80%- 100%. In this position you will have cross-functional responsibilities mainly supporting the EMEA Business Leader, while also offering support for activities related to our site in Schlieren (and occasionally Lyon). Key responsibilities include:

Support of Head of EMEA Business Leader

  • Ad hoc Support (e.g. presentation for Leadership Team, country visits etc.)
  • Full access and tracking agenda outlook appointments of the EMEA Business leader
  • Meeting planning (Bi-weekly bilateral with the team / appoint Performance Management & Development meetings with the team)
  • Organization / Coordination of team meetings (in-house & outside)
  • Communication with Product Management team
  • Powerpoint presentations
  • Monthly monitoring of the costs (check if the expenses are in line with the budget)
  • Assisting in appointing yearly Budget
  • Prepare Monthly Sales Flash (monthly overview of sales results)
  • Preparation/updates of regional strategy slides
  • X-Matrix updates
  • KPI (Key performance indicators) Business


Back-up for existing employee:

  • Support of Lyon Site Leader (Meeting planning, Agenda, Actions list, Coordination of townhall meetings, Lyon Newsletter)
  • Back-up Legal (Documentum, filing of originals, Overview / Troubleshooting, Loyalty calculation for License agreement)


Site related tasks:

  • Admin for Board of Directors
  • Back-up of the receptionist (Answer main phone / Travel reservation)


Your Qualification and experience:

  • Commercial degree and further education in economic, Marketing, or Personal Assistant domain
  • Working experience in a supporting role (e.g. Assistant/ Sales/ Marketing etc.)
  • Ability to work in an international environment
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Good communication skills in: English and German (minimum level C1) and preferably French
  • Excellent use and knowledge of MS Office environment
  • affinity to social media is an advantage
