Job Description

Position Summary:

The Supervisor, Warehouse leads a team of Material Handlers to ensure materials are received, inspected, and warehoused following our company guidelines including quality systems regulations. Will ensure that inventory of materials and products are managed and issued to the production areas in accordance with organizational philosophy. This position will also be responsible for inventory accuracy & movement’s management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides positive leadership to the warehouse personnel and supervises their daily activities.
  • Responsible for managing & coaching employee performance & expectations
  • Responsible for timely & accurate receiving & putaway.
  • Responsible for timely & accurate picking & staging of Production work orders.
  • Maintains all materials and processes to ensure GMP / GWP
  • Ensures all team members are working in a safe and efficient manner
  • Prepares management reports including a Tier 1 board that measure the cadence and effectiveness of the activities being supervised.
  • Supports PPI continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
  • Familiar with working and managing to Service Level Agreements (SLA’s)
  • Participates in the development and implementation of warehousing procedures including receiving, warehousing, material movements and inventory control.
  • Capable of managing & driving GMP Clean Close daily
  • Effectively & accurately manage material movements

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory control/warehouse management, and a minimum of 3 years of leadership experience.
  • BS degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, and a strong track record of working cross functionally.
  • Must be able to effectively recommend, present and justify continued improvement activities.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to manage multiple activities and tasks.
  • Inventory Systems knowledge is strongly recommended, QAD, JDE or SAP preferred.
  • Experience in ISO 13485 & FDA Quality requirements
