Doug, Regulatory Specialist

In Regulatory Affairs, we ensure that we get our products to market as fast as possible, meeting all the regulations and standards that affect them. With the broad range and complexity of our product portfolio, and the many countries around the world where we make and sell our products, that’s a complex challenge.

Our professionals work broadly across the organization, and are truly integrated with all facets of the business—a unique and exciting feature of the Regulatory function. We’re involved in the full life cycle of products, and work closely with our quality, legal and manufacturing teams to establish the best methods to meet all regulations and standards. We are the face of the company to our regulators, and with our global scale and a wide range of products, you’ll get exposure to different regulations and government agencies across the countries, markets and regions where we work.

Your career can go in many directions within the Regulatory department. At Thermo Fisher Scientific, we’ll give you opportunities to advance your knowledge through internal and external training, encouraging you to grow and take on increased management responsibilities. Or if management is not in your plans, you can move across the organization and advance your regulatory knowledge across many different types of products—from complex analytical instrumentation to diagnostic biomarkers and companion diagnostic products—something only a company of our size and scope can offer.

Whether you’re demonstrating your ability to understand scientific, legal and marketing content or directly negotiating with powerful government agencies, your diverse set of skills will be put on full display here. If you’re an excellent communicator with an eye for detail and you’re passionate about the Regulatory field, join our team and put your expertise toward products and services that help improve people’s lives.
