Job Title: Head of Commercial Operations, Japan
Reports To: ImmunoDiagnostics (IDD) Division Lead
Group/Division: Specialty Diagnostics Group (SDG) / ImmunoDiagnostics (IDD)
Location: Japan

Position Summary:

The Head of Commercial Operations is a key member of company’s leadership team. In this role, you will support all sales channels and enable the successful delivery of business plans by co-developing sales strategy, providing business intelligence, improving Customer Relationship Management (CRM) / Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE), building and enhancing digital infrastructure, and coaching and guiding sales/marketing team to follow promotion code. This position is also responsible for IDD Japan supply chain.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Co-work with IDD Japan Sales Head to develop sales strategy and execution plan to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Own and facilitate regular commercial meetings composed by customer facing function leaders.
  • Develop and deploy CRM/SFE strategies in collaboration with relevant functional leaders. Develop and monitor key metrics to continuously improve performance.
  • Act as an internal consultant for sales and marketing teams to make them follow the promotion code. Design and provide periodic training for Healthcare Compliance.
  • Coach the Logistics Center to develop and deploy supply chain strategy, and achieve major KPIs in order handling, purchasing and product delivery.
  • Proactively act as to prevent and/or resolve general operational issues which may not be fall into any particular functions.
  • Provide effective coaching to staffs to increase organizational capacity and enrich talent pipeline.
  • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science ; MBA preferred.
  • Min. 5 years management experience in business operations, sales back-office or strategy and planning.
  • Highly self-motivated leader with ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Demonstrated success in hands-on leading and developing teams with a strong focus on performance, coaching, mentoring and collaboration.
  • Work experience in healthcare industry. Invitro Diagnostics (IVD) experience is a plus.

  • Excellent strategic thinker with solid written and verbal communication skills, both in Japanese and English
  • Ability to plan, execute and measure with a strong sense of ownership to drive results.
