Position Summary:

We seek an experienced Finance professional with excellent analysis and communication skills to support the Laboratory Products Group (LPG) North America Commercial Team as a Financial Analyst.

The position will be based in our Corporate Headquarters in Waltham, MA.

A successful candidate will support commercial sales leadership across our laboratory equipment and consumables divisions and will also be involved in a variety of project-based work.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly business reviews and presentation of results to senior leadership
  • Detailed analysis of monthly expense trend data and the impact of Freight, Overtime, etc. to support accurate financial reporting and reliable forecasting of expenses
  • Reporting, forecasting and budgeting for the North America Commercial and Management organizations
  • Partnering with sales operations to manage, and provide sales commission analysis, especially to understand post-sales concessions impact on profitability
  • Prepare for and participate in internal and external audits
  • Complete required compliance reporting for The Sunshine Act and other related state and federal reporting requirements
  • Perform special projects and ad-hoc reporting as required by finance and business leadership
Minimum Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors Degree in Finance or related fields.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail, with the ability to translate and articulate business impact in financial terms.
  • Strong Excel and modeling skills, experience with Hyperion highly valuable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to build and maintain relationships and communicate professionally to all levels of an organization.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to work as part of team environment and individually.
  • Minimal travel requirements
