Key Account Manager Chromatography Consumables


Position summary:

We are a growing company currently looking for a Key Account Manager within Chromatography Consumables to cover Denmark. Joining our Nordic team in Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry, you will report to the Commercial General Manager, Nordic region. You will manage and develop the sales territory within Denmark growing the good business ensuring sales targets are achieved. You will be accountable for identifying account needs and recommending business opportunities to facilitate on-going market access.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Create and develop a list of key accounts. Providing total solutions and maintaining and developing close working relationships with your customers
• Achieve the quarterly and annual territory sales targets whilst maximizing profitability through effective territory planning and technical ‘consultative selling'
• Looking after existing as well as developing new relationships with key opinion leaders within Chromatography in the region
• Support and interact with all channels to drive growth through collaboration
• Co-operate closely with the Fields Sales Manager, Internal Sales Team, applications and technical support personnel and the Sales Order Processing team
• Maintain and develop the CRM database and provide regular sales reports and forecasts
• Travel within Denmark by car and some yearly international sales meetings and trainings
• At all times follow and adhere to Company Values – Intensity, Integrity Innovation and Involvement

We believe you have the following experience/qualifications/qualities:
• Degree in Chemistry
• Academic and/or industrial experience in chromatography techniques is essential
• Relevant experience in a sales or marketing environment be it capital analytical equipment sales/marketing or a consumables type environment is an advantage
• A broad familiarity of the following industries: Pharma/Biotech, Academia, Industrial
• Good understanding for key account management and experience with business development and cold calls
• Excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills
• Strong drive for success with a ‘can-do’ approach and great attention to details
• Fluent in Danish as well as professional level of English
• Valid driver’s license
