The Trade Compliance Manager (custom regulatory compliance) owns the business processes for ensuring that Thermo Fisher China’s import and export business and processes fully comply with China custom and other competent Import & export supervision authority’s regulatory requirements. The Trade Compliance Manager will also lead the program to establish and optimize the standard operation processes to manage, control and mitigate risk in relation to import & export business and custom regulatory affairs.
The Trade Compliance Manager must be able to motivate his or her own department and is also required to successfully lead group projects with members and stakeholders from a variety of functions and areas. There are a wide variety of activities involved in this position requiring excellent organizational skills and the ability to work and manage in a high energy, fast paced environment. A high degree of flexibility with the ability to respond to changing priorities is important.
