What you will do
As the GC Cancer Navigator, Technology Lead, for the IMPACT Program, you will provide genetic counseling and serve as a concierge cancer care navigator to employees and their family members participating in this one-of-a-kind program. You’ll serve as a liaison between the participant and the team of other IMPACT providers and partners, advocating for the participant’s needs throughout the program. In addition you will:
  • Provide clinical insight and experience to inform strategic direction of the IMPACT program – this is a great opportunity to innovate and shape the experience for participants
  • Research and incorporate technology, science and clinical innovations into the program to maximize benefits to participants
  • Lead acquisition and development of program infrastructure needs, such as software, hardware, and user (participant) interface applications
  • Perform various program development projects that impact service delivery
  • Assist with new laboratory and vendor selection and contract negotiations to balance high service levels with cost effectiveness
How you’ll get here
  • ABGC board-certified genetic counselor with a minimum of five years of experience, two of which are in clinical cancer care
  • Familiarity with tumor molecular profiling techniques preferred
  • Willingness to embrace and utilize multiple communication modalities and innovative mobile health technologies
  • Familiarity with productivity and collaboration tools like Microsoft Office and Google Business Tools
  • Ability to travel occasionally for in-person meetings and educational conferences
  • Private home office with high-speed wireless internet connection and telephone capability
